Seasonal Instructors

We are currently seeking Seasonal Instructors to work at our centre from May/June through to September 2008.

Instructors during this period are pre-dominantly involved in delivering fun 'taster' sessions to young people from schools, youth groups and youth localities.

What sort of activities do we do?
We offer a number of different activities to young people including climbing, high ropes, archery, mountain biking and canoeing & kayaking.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people over 18 who like working outside, are physically fit, enthusiastic, flexible, keen to learn and have an interest in helping young people develop.

Having personal experience or qualifications (e.g. SPA, BCU Level II, GNAS) in the above activities would be a distinct advantage although not essential as all staff receive in-house training in all of the activities offered at the centre.

When will I receive this training?
Applicants will need to attend a compulsory four-day training course taking place from Tuesday 10th to Friday 13th April. This will be a full induction to the centre including training in all activities. At the start of the season, seasonal staff will work alongside full-time instructors before delivering sessions on their own.

When can I start?
We are looking for most of the seasonal instructors to start in May and June although there is some flexibility with this.

How can I apply?
For further details and an application pack please contact the centre on 01245 223 342 or email info@danburyoutdoors.com
